When Danielle gave birth to her daughter Madison in October 2024, everyone told her to sit, rest, and relax. But sitting HURT. After trying every donut cushion with no relief, she crafted her own—leading to the birth of The Tush Present. She reached out to her longtime friend Lauren, an expert in product development who had been struggling with infertility for two years. They connected over the challenges of motherhood—from trying to conceive through the fourth trimester—and realized the need for better, safer postpartum support.

Together, they created The Tush Present using only eco-friendly, organic, and non-endocrine disrupting materials. Their mission? To support women during one of the most vulnerable, exciting, and nerve-wracking times in their lives.

How do I care for my cushion?

Your Tush Present cushion is made from waterproof fabric and the filling is anti-microbial and moisture-wicking. We suggest spot cleaning the cushion itself and washing the cover.

What is the cushion’s filling made of?

The filling is made of Kapok, a natural organic non-endocrine disrupting material found in the rainforest. You can adjust the firmness of your cushion by taking Kapok out or adding more into the cushion. When you are done with your cushion the Kapok can be used as natural fertilizer in your yard or garden.

What are your shipping times?
