How is the Tush different from a memory foam lumbar pillow?

Most lumbar pillows are polyurethane foam in a synthetic cover and do one job. The Tush is natural kapok in a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover, it's adjustable, and it works as back support and a seat cushion.

Does it have a strap?

No strap needed. It sits upright against the back of your chair and moves from your office chair to the couch to the car in a second.

Can I adjust it?

Yes. Unzip it to add or remove fill for your height and the firmness you like.

Can I use it in the car?

Yes. Set it up before you drive, never while driving.

  • Behind your back: it moves you slightly forward. Readjust your seat so you keep a safe distance from the steering wheel, and make sure your shoulder belt lies flat across your chest.
  • As a seat cushion: it raises you. Readjust your seat and mirrors, check that you can see clearly and reach the pedals comfortably, and make sure your lap belt sits low across your hips.

If it changes your position in a way that doesn't feel safe, don't use it while driving.

Will it help my posture?

Many customers tell us they sit up straighter and feel more supported through the day. It's a comfort product, not a medical device.

Can I sit on it too?

Yes. Lay it flat and it's a seat cushion. That's the 2-in-1.

How do I clean it?

The cover zips off and goes in the washing machine. Toss the cushion in the dryer to fluff it, or skip it for a broken-in feel.
